Strategy and Operations, Financial Services Practice Consultant

About the role

The Strategy and Operations, Financial Services Practice Consultant will join Bain's Americas Financial Services Practice, based in Mexico City. Reporting to the Practice Senior Manager and Regional Practice Leader, you will support senior partners, shape practice strategy, and own content for high‑visibility external events across North America and Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the agenda, materials, and follow‑through for regional practice meetings and governance forums.
• Translate discussions into actionable plans and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Build executive‑ready analyses and presentations that track the practice’s growth agenda, KPIs, and investments.
• Partner with the Practice Senior Manager and Regional Practice Leader to develop and execute the regional practice plan.
• Support senior partners in shaping practice strategy and delivering content for AI Summits and other marquee programs.
• Provide judgment and a point of view from day one, contributing beyond executional tasks.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience or strong interest in financial services sectors such as banking, insurance, wealth management, or payments.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, cross‑regional environment.
