Strategy Consultant II – Strategic Planning

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and analytical professional to join the Strategic Planning team of a leading U.S. insurer. In this position you will help shape business strategies that drive operational excellence, innovation, and growth across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategy formulation projects focused on operational excellence, innovation, and growth.
• Conduct internal and external analyses (market, competitors, customer segments) to identify opportunities and risks.
• Gather and analyze insurance and financial services data, develop insights, and benchmark against best‑in‑class companies.
• Translate research findings into clear recommendations and business solutions for senior stakeholders.
• Create roadmaps and strategic initiatives aligned with business goals and track performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business units on cross‑functional initiatives.
• Mentor team members in project management, critical thinking, and problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Experience in strategy consulting, insurance, or market research/analytics.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a hypothesis‑driven approach.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing senior leaders.
