About the role

The Logistics Supervisor will lead a team responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation. This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient transportation operations within Magna's automotive supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate staff who verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Expedite shipments and set delivery dates to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain and adjust trucking schedules to guarantee on‑time delivery in appropriate containers.
• Oversee loading and unloading of customer and supplier trucks.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the shipping process.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising logistics or transportation teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict delivery timelines.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of shipment documentation and tracking procedures.
• Familiarity with trucking schedule management.
• Understanding of loading/unloading operations and container handling.
