Supervisor Maintenance

About the role

Donaldson is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance activities, improve safety and reliability, and drive continuous improvement across its manufacturing operations. The role combines hands‑on technical problem solving with team leadership to ensure equipment uptime and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations to guarantee equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Lead, coach, and support maintenance technicians to meet performance and safety objectives.
• Plan and coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement timely solutions.
• Collaborate with production teams to align maintenance priorities with operational needs.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a strong safety culture.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers.
• Track maintenance metrics and prepare basic performance reports.
• Support installation, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial settings, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance expertise.
• Knowledge of control, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency with maintenance management systems (CMMS/ERP, e.g., Oracle).
• Ability to read technical manuals, drawings and schematics.
• Experience with automation systems such as PLCs, HMIs and sensors.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Kaizen and TPM methodologies.
• Root‑cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).
