Supply Chain Development Coordinator

About the role

The Supply Chain Development Coordinator supports the Supply Chain Development Manager in implementing Jabil’s global supply chain strategy for a specific business unit. The role focuses on aligning customer demand with Jabil’s production capabilities while preparing the incumbent for future managerial responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Supply Chain Development Manager in managing the customer supply‑chain relationship.
• Champion the execution of Jabil’s standard planning and inventory strategies and customize solutions when required.
• Develop and maintain a Master Production Schedule that balances customer contracts, material availability, equipment capacity, and staffing.
• Create product launch and site‑transfer plans, evaluate buffer inventory needs, and oversee residual inventory disposition.
• Generate and analyse inventory reports, and support cost‑recovery initiatives for excess or obsolete stock.
• Communicate customer requirements to Commodity Management, Operations Materials Management, and Business Unit Buyers.
• Manage quarterly material quotation cycles for strategic commodities and assist with RFQ execution.
• Identify, qualify, and negotiate with new or alternate suppliers, focusing on pricing, payment terms, and supply‑chain optimization programs.

Required profile

• Interest in developing a career toward a Supply Chain Development Manager position within 2‑3 years.
• Ability to interact directly with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset for inventory and scheduling analysis.
• Willingness to support product launches, site transfers, and inventory cost‑reduction initiatives.
