Supply Chain Scheduler

About the role

The Supply Chain Scheduler is responsible for ensuring that raw materials and component inventories are aligned with production needs. You will monitor Master Production Schedule (MPS) performance, anticipate supply risks, and work closely with suppliers and internal teams to guarantee material availability.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily inventory levels of raw materials and component families and propose preventive actions to meet MPS targets.
• Set optimal inventory targets, lead reduction initiatives, and measure Supplier Service Rate (SSR) for each supplier.
• Plan material requirements based on Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) and MPS, and send weekly forecasts to suppliers.
• Track material arrivals, ensure on‑time shipments, and communicate precise information to supplier contacts.
• Identify bottlenecks, attend logistics/purchasing meetings, and support implementation of Pull flow, Kanban, EDI, and Milk‑run processes.
• Collaborate with external flow analysts on inbound transportation plans and support inventory counting activities.
• Alert sales and management during crises, propose action plans, and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain regular supplier relationships, develop logistics protocols, and ensure backup coverage during holidays.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of inventory management, MPS, and SIOP concepts.
• Experience working with suppliers and cross‑functional teams (logistics, purchasing, production).
• Ability to analyse data, identify risks, and implement corrective actions quickly.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to supplier contacts.
