Tax Advisory Associate

About the role

Alvarez & Marsal Mexico is seeking a motivated Tax Advisory Associate to join its entrepreneurial tax team. You will work closely with senior advisors to develop and deliver tax planning solutions that meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and delivery of high‑quality tax planning approaches.
• Prepare financial and tax models to compute cash tax impacts and evaluate tax incentives.
• Draft structuring slide decks, technical memoranda, and opinion letters.
• Collaborate with colleagues to lead client discussions, prepare detailed analyses, and follow up on action items.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 1–2 years of tax consulting experience.
• Strong analytical, research, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, time‑sensitive environment.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Strong PowerPoint skills for client presentations.
