Technical Field Support Engineer

About the role

The Technical Field Support Engineer will join KONE’s Mexico team in Guadalajara, providing expert technical assistance to Front Line and Supply Operations teams. You will ensure installations run smoothly, support digital tools and contribute to product development and training initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote and on‑site technical support for elevator, escalator and building‑door installations, including digital tools, APF, software and BIM.
• Guarantee that all installations meet customer specifications, ride‑comfort expectations and safety standards.
• Participate in audits, pilot new products, and implement improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with global teams to develop installation methods, troubleshooting tools, and training materials.
• Prepare quality reports, identify corrective actions, and follow KONE’s processes for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong technical understanding of KONE products, service solutions and corrective‑action processes.
• Knowledge of project norms, safety and environmental sustainability requirements.
• Fluent English and comfortable using IT tools to support daily work.
• Flexibility to travel as needed and work both on‑site and remotely.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools such as APF and BIM.
• Software troubleshooting and IT tool usage.
• Experience with elevator and escalator installation processes.
