Technical Solution Architect (ABAP)

About the role

Syntax is looking for a Technical Solution Architect (ABAP) to lead the design and governance of SAP technical solutions across S/4HANA and ECC environments. This senior position will work closely with business, functional and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable, high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern the ABAP technical architecture for SAP landscapes.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Review, optimize and ensure quality of custom developments.
• Mentor and guide development teams on best practices.
• Drive SAP technical modernization, performance tuning and architectural alignment.

Required profile

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• 3+ years in a technical architect or lead role.
• Strong expertise in SAP modernization projects, including S/4HANA conversions and greenfield implementations.
• Proven ability to work across global, cross‑functional teams.
