Training Technician

About the role

GKN Aerospace is seeking a Training Technician to create a supportive learning environment for production operators. You will develop and deliver technical training, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and foster continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical training to production operators and verify understanding of work instructions.
• Develop and update manuals, visual guides, presentations, and other training materials.
• Standardise teaching methods and conduct both theoretical and practical evaluations.
• Certify personnel for critical operations and maintain records of certifications and recertifications.
• Support operators throughout their learning curve, correcting deviations and reinforcing best practices.
• Identify skill gaps, manage skills matrices, and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Technical degree or completed high school; certifications in training or instruction are desirable.
• Previous experience training operational or technical personnel and practical knowledge of the production process.
• Proactive attitude, responsibility, commitment to personnel development, openness to change, and professional ethics.
