Transportation Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Transportation Analyst to collaborate with transportation providers, third‑party logistics (3PL) partners, and internal stakeholders. The role ensures an efficient, cost‑effective material flow across our supplier network while supporting the analysis, implementation, control, and continuous optimization of transportation and logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily transportation activities, including bookings with freight forwarders and trucking providers.
• Track shipments, proactively address delays, exceptions, and risks.
• Monitor transportation and 3PL service performance against contractual requirements.
• Support process standardization and maintain contingency plans for operational continuity.
• Collaborate with internal departments, carriers, and logistics partners to improve routing and transportation efficiency.
• Provide transportation and export support for North American suppliers as needed.
• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and validating transportation documentation such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipment labels.
• Verify that shipping documentation complies with customs regulations, trade compliance, and transportation standards.
• Monitor and control transportation budgets, support freight cost validation, and review invoices.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor carrier performance, and prepare recurring transportation reports and dashboards using Excel.
• Perform other duties assigned by the department supervisor and support safety‑related activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain operations, materials handling, or customs and trade compliance (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Accountable work style with strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work across time zones with flexible scheduling.
• Analytical and autonomous mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel for reporting and tracking.
