Vice President – Investment (Mexico)

About the role

General Atlantic is seeking a full‑time Vice President to join its Mexico City investment team. The role will focus on sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investments across Latin America while collaborating with global colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end investment processes, from deal sourcing to execution and portfolio management.
• Act as the primary relationship owner for portfolio companies, supporting their growth and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and refine investment theses in line with the firm’s growth equity strategy.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to talent development within the Mexico office.
• Represent General Atlantic externally with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry stakeholders.

Required profile

• Significant experience in private equity, growth equity, or related investment fields.
• Strong track record of sourcing and executing deals in Latin America.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proven leadership and relationship‑building skills.
• Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
