Vice President of Operations

About the role

Platzi is looking for a Vice President of Operations to partner with the CEO and ensure the company runs smoothly on a daily basis. This senior leader will shape the operational rhythm, drive accountability, and support the growth of Latin America’s largest technology school.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all business operations, including planning, KPI cadence, legal matters, organizational architecture, and day‑to‑day team coordination.
• Manage payroll processes and supervise the Head of Operations.
• Establish clear accountability frameworks and ensure each team is aligned to measurable goals.
• Investigate operational challenges in depth, clarify ambiguities, and drive decisive solutions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in technology companies or startups.
• Preferably a former founder or senior operator with a track record of scaling operations.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Based in Mexico City (CDMX) or Bogotá.
• MBA welcomed; equivalent experience accepted.
