VIE Internal Control – Mexico

About the role

This 12‑month VIE assignment with Hermès in Mexico supports the Internal Control Department across retail stores, e‑commerce, and corporate functions. You will help ensure compliance with group policies and local regulations while gaining hands‑on experience in internal audit and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Internal Control Manager in tracking and implementing action plans from internal audit recommendations.
• Support Chic campaigns by reviewing retail and e‑commerce processes, testing controls, and assessing compliance with policies such as T&Es, accounting, and treasury.
• Plan and conduct store audits, document findings, and issue recommendations to improve procedural compliance.
• Draft and update procedural documents, highlighting key control points for operational efficiency.
• Perform sanction checks on suppliers and customers using the Refinitiv tool.
• Participate in special projects and ad‑hoc investigations for the internal audit team.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a strong interest in finance, audit, or internal control.
• Fluent in professional English and Spanish.
• Excellent written and oral communication, active listening, and diplomatic interaction skills.
• Agile, curious, adaptable, and able to work hands‑on in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Mexico.
