About the role

As a Waiter / Luxury Service Host at Banyan Tree Veya, you will create memorable dining experiences for guests by delivering elegant, attentive, and personalized food and beverage service. Your role is central to the resort’s philosophy of mindful luxury, wellbeing, and authentic hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, personalized food and beverage service in line with luxury hospitality standards.
• Anticipate guest needs, preferences, and special requests to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, ingredients, wine pairings, and resort offerings.
• Set up, clean, and present restaurant areas to the highest standards at all times.
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow and accurate timing.
• Promote appropriate upselling opportunities aligned with guest preferences.
• Adhere to hygiene, safety, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for luxury service.
• Ability to stay composed and professional in high‑pressure environments.
• Previous experience in luxury hotels, fine‑dining, or upscale restaurants is preferred.
• Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and strong service orientation.
• Conversational English preferred.
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules, weekends, and holidays.
