Accountant – Accounts Receivable

About the role

The LEGO Group is looking for an Accountant specialized in Accounts Receivable to join its global finance team in Monterrey. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, customer‑focused AR processes while supporting partner relationships across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused AR processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Manage advanced AR activities such as credit assessments, collections, payment follow‑up and customer account management.
• Perform detailed credit risk assessments, analysing financial statements and annual reports.
• Release or cancel customer orders according to company policies and credit guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and external customers across regions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise AR processes and support global standardisation.
• Ensure compliance with global accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Finance and Accounts Receivable or a similar role.
• Experience in a Shared Service Center environment with a focus on process excellence.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a quality‑focused attitude.
• Excellent collaboration and partner‑management abilities across functions and geographies.
• Advanced English language skills and professional Spanish language skills.
