Accountant – Global Operations Support

About the role

FENIX is looking for an Accountant to support its global business operations. The role will involve handling core financial processes for multiple international entities and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounts receivable and payable
• Draft invoices and obtain internal approval
• Assist with submitting invoices to clients
• Audit accounts receivable
• Bill clients for pass‑through expenses
• Draft bills and categorize payments
• Review and reconcile expenses
• Ensure expenses are submitted within policy timeframes
• Provide expense training and answer employee questions
• Run monthly audit reports and update financial records
• Support other accounting duties on an international scale

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
• 1‑2 years of professional experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Authorization to work in Mexico without sponsorship
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to collaborate with international teams across time zones
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
