Accountant

About the role

Flix is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its finance team. You will support general ledger functions, ensure data accuracy, and contribute to month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
• Analyze financial data and help produce reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with finance, tax and legal teams to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
• Provide documentation and explanations during audits.
• Maintain organized, up‑to‑date financial records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or Record‑to‑Report roles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP financial reporting standards.
