Accountant – Monterrey, Mexico

About the role

The Accountant will support accounting and administration functions for Cold Jet Latin America, based in Monterrey, Mexico. Working closely with the US headquarters, the role ensures accurate month‑end closing, tax compliance, and timely cash collection while adhering to corporate policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end closing in Epicor, including accruals, journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Process accounts receivable invoicing in line with Mexican regulations and customer requirements.
• Issue complimentary CFDI payments and upload them to customer portals.
• Prepare and present the monthly DIOT tax filing.
• Enter accounts payable invoices and manage daily/weekly check runs.
• Record daily cash receipts and collaborate with sales to ensure timely collections.
• Assist with business and financial data analysis and respond to tax/audit requests.
• Report financial statements to US headquarters and perform general ledger activities as needed.
• Set up Cold Jet Latin America as a supplier for new customers and ensure compliance with global policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑oriented, stress‑resistant and analytical mindset.
