About the role

Halliburton is seeking an entry‑level Accountant to join its finance team in Reforma, Chiapas. This position offers the chance to work within one of the world’s largest energy‑service providers, gaining exposure to core accounting processes and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and apply the company’s business systems, processes, and controls for the assigned location and department.
• Prepare accounting reports and perform increasingly complex accounting analyses using spreadsheets or specialized applications.
• Post journal vouchers and research basic accounting issues, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Support financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting activities.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of nine (9) months of experience in an accounting‑related role.
• Knowledge of US GAAP or applicable country‑specific accounting principles.
