Accounting and Finance Specialist

About the role

Intangibles Talent is seeking an Accounting and Finance Specialist to join a U.S. general contractor’s finance team. You will manage day‑to‑day accounting tasks and own the monthly close and financial reporting, working on U.S. business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Enter vendor and subcontractor invoices daily in QuickBooks Online and Procore.
• Prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and execute month‑end close.
• Coordinate payroll and allocate labor costs across multiple construction projects.
• Upload project pay applications and reconcile QuickBooks to Procore weekly.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, cash‑flow forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Support audit activities and liaise with the CPA firm on reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience owning the full accounting cycle.
• Strong command of general ledger, AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• High level of discretion handling confidential financial and personal data.
• Ability to work independently during U.S. business hours.

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online proficiency.
• Experience with Procore for cost management.
• Advanced Excel skills.
