Accounting Senior Manager

About the role

The Accounting Senior Manager will act as a trusted business partner, ensuring financial integrity and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP for the Mexico market. This role leads month‑end close, financial reporting, controls, and audit activities while supporting strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre‑close and month‑end close processes, including balance‑sheet review, variance analysis, journal entry definition and approval, and statutory reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial statements under IFRS or local GAAP.
• Maintain and enforce financial controls, aligning with risk management and corporate policies.
• Own external audit coordination, timing, and resolution of audit findings.
• Drive governance, risk escalation, and financial discipline across the market.
• Participate in global and local projects such as capital reduction, legal entity mergers, and divestments.
• Provide advisory support and business partnering for decision‑making.
• Develop finance talent and promote a culture of accountability.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant or related degree.
• Extensive experience in controlling and management reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, and financial systems.
• Advanced level of English.
