Accounting Specialist – Cash Management

About the role

MEDITECH is seeking an Accounting Specialist focused on cash management. You will join the accounting team to monitor bank activity, reconcile accounts, and support cash‑flow forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize web‑based banking software to track account activity and fees.
• Process payments from multiple sources and research discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank accounts to the general ledger on a daily basis.
• Act as liaison with bank contacts to resolve fee issues and account differences.
• Compile month‑end reports and analyze cash‑flow trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred, or 2‑3 years relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting cycles and general‑ledger principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Google Sheets.
