Accounting & Tax Manager

About the role

We are looking for a senior accountant to support the Accounting & Tax Manager in building and scaling our accounting, tax and financial operations. The role is execution‑focused, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Mexican regulations and timely treasury processes for a fast‑growing motorcycle trading company.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise accounting records, perform account reconciliations and execute month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Prepare financial statements under Mexican GAAP, analyze variances and provide insights for leadership.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, file monthly and annual tax returns and complete transfer‑pricing studies.
• Perform bank reconciliations, manage prepaid expenses and support treasury process improvements.
• Identify process improvements, support ERP enhancements and maintain Odoo ERP as the system of record.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience with international tax for multinational companies.
• Background in the trading or import‑distribution industry is strongly preferred.
