Accounts Receivable Finance Associate

About the role

The Finance Associate will manage accounts receivable processes for high‑volume, strategic national chain and trade accounts. You will collect financial data, analyse delinquent balances, and work closely with sales, delivery and execution teams to ensure compliance and resolve issues that affect cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor aging balances, identify customer trends and flag changes in behavior.
• Perform account analysis to determine root causes of unpaid invoices, quantity shortages and pricing discrepancies.
• Initiate and facilitate resolution of discrepancies, communicating with internal and external partners.
• Maintain accurate customer information (store #, vendor #, billing requirements, tax exemptions) and perform system updates as needed.
• Leverage knowledge of proof‑of‑delivery, billing processes and accounting practices to ensure field compliance and mitigate risk.
• Project account performance for period‑end and quarter‑end reporting.
• Serve as primary contact for customer accounts and respond to inquiries, escalating critical issues appropriately.

Required profile

• Four‑year business degree.
• Minimum of three years of comparable business experience in finance or accounts receivable.
