About the role
Join Bosch's Digital Twin workstream as an Advanced Embedded SW Engineer I. You will help virtualize vehicle electronic architectures and validate features and system behaviours across multiple domains.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse and implement software requirements for digital twin models.
- Design, code, configure, test and document digital‑twin solutions.
- Act as the technical liaison for the global software development team.
- Test software functions in hardware and software simulation environments to ensure conformance with customer requirements.
- Debug and troubleshoot embedded software issues.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on embedded software engineering experience, preferably in automotive or safety‑critical projects.
- Fluent English for daily communication with global teams.
- Ability to work onsite in Guadalajara.
Required skills
- Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded development.
- Experience with Embedded Linux or QNX operating systems.
- Knowledge of Ethernet protocols (TCP/IP) and CAN bus configuration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with virtualised ECU environments or hardware‑in‑the‑loop setups.
- Use of software‑integration tools such as ALM, JIRA and GIT.
- Understanding of AUTOSAR Classic architecture (RTE, BSW, COM stack) is a plus.
- Exposure to hypervisor technologies, Rust, SOME/IP, DDS, sensor‑simulation frameworks, vehicle‑dynamics modelling and ADAS perception pipelines is desirable.
