AI Financial Operations Analyst – Remote

About the role

Quora is looking for an AI Financial Operations Analyst to help modernise finance processes for both Quora and Poe. The role is fully remote and sits within a small, flat finance team that is rebuilding its function around artificial intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve AI‑driven automation for FP&A activities such as forecasting, budgeting, reporting, variance analysis, and month‑end close.
• Own the operational side of tax compliance, monitor obligations, maintain schedules and workpapers, and create continuous‑compliance automation.
• Integrate ERP, spend‑management, equity, HRIS, and CRM systems with AI agents, scripts, and integrations to eliminate manual finance tasks.
• Develop new AI systems that expand the finance function’s capabilities, documenting all work to ensure reliability and auditability.
• Help raise the AI proficiency of the broader finance team through knowledge sharing and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build AI‑powered workflows, agents, or automations that run real financial processes in production.
• Experience with core finance operations, including FP&A, tax, and general finance processes.
• Comfort working autonomously in a remote‑first environment with high autonomy and ownership.
