Airport Deputy Manager – FIFA World Cup 26 (Guadalajara)

About the role

The Airport Deputy Manager will support the Airport Manager in overseeing day‑to‑day operations for the FIFA World Cup 26™ in Guadalajara. This fixed‑term position is part of the FIFA26 Operational Services team and works closely with the FIFA Transport team to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant airport services for the tournament.

Key responsibilities

• Act as second‑in‑command, deputising for the Arrivals & Departures Teams Manager.
• Lead, train and motivate a mixed workforce of paid staff and volunteers.
• Oversee airside and landside operations, terminal management and customer service.
• Coordinate emergency response and ensure compliance with aviation regulations and FIFA service standards.
• Maintain safety, efficiency and quality across all airport functions during the event.
