Analytics Engineer – Microsoft Fabric & Power BI

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Analytics Engineer to join our growing data team. In this position you will design, build, and maintain robust data models and solutions using Microsoft Fabric, dbt, and Power BI, turning raw data into reliable, analytics‑ready datasets for business users and data scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data models and transformations with dbt inside the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and deliver high‑quality datasets.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance through testing, documentation, and version control.
• Optimize performance of data transformations and queries across large datasets.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in data workflows.
• Contribute to best‑practice standards for data modeling, transformation, and source control.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.

Required skills

• SQL (advanced)
• dbt (Core or Cloud)
• Microsoft Fabric components: OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse
• Power BI (semantic models, DAX)
• Git‑based version control and CI/CD practices
• Python or other scripting languages (preferred)
• Data modeling for SAP ECC, Oracle EBS, QAD, Salesforce, GetPaid, iNexus, Concur, SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning (PBCS), Siemens Teamcenter
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and observability tools
