Application Engineer

About the role

LEO Pump is looking for an Application Engineer to provide product application expertise and technical support across the Americas. The role involves matching customer needs with the right pump solutions and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Select appropriate pump models based on detailed customer requirements and deliver professional product recommendations.
• Respond to customer inquiries, understand technical needs, and support smooth deal closure.
• Track and follow up on product‑related issues to guarantee timely resolution.
• Collect and analyse market and competitor information, feeding structured feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.
• Participate in customer Q&A sessions, product recommendation events, and deliver technical training to sales teams and customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechatronics, Mechanical Design, Fluid Machinery & Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support or product application within the pump industry in the Americas.
• Strong understanding of market research methods, product promotion processes, and Product Data Management (PDM) documentation.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish.
• Willingness to be based in Brazil or Mexico.
