Area Manager – Fulfillment Operations

About the role

Amazon is seeking an entry‑level Area Manager to lead a team of 20‑50 associates in a fulfillment centre. You will be responsible for motivating, coaching and ensuring the team has the tools to meet safety, quality and performance targets while delivering a world‑class customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a team of 20‑50 Amazon Associates.
• Communicate policies, maintain compliance and take corrective action when needed.
• Motivate, mentor and coach associates during each shift.
• Support safety programs and OSHA compliance, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Oversee building security, product loss‑prevention procedures and quality‑control standards.
• Create and manage recognition and communication programs.
• Develop performance goals to meet customer demand and ensure accuracy.

Required profile

• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, overnight shifts and overtime during peak periods.
• Ability to work a 4x3 or 5x2 schedule and rotate shifts 2‑3 times per year.
• Strong leadership mindset, organized self‑starter with a people‑focused approach.
• On‑site work at the Tepotzotlán fulfillment centre (not remote).
