Assistant General Manager (Pre‑opening) – Hospitality

About the role

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will support the General Manager in launching and operating the new Soho House property in Los Cabos. This senior leader will ensure high service standards, operational efficiency, and a memorable experience for members and guests while driving profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to set and review operational goals based on weekly, daily and quarterly performance data.
• Lead day‑to‑day staff management across Front Office, Rooms, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Reservations and Food & Beverage.
• Implement action plans on time and within budget to improve profit margins and enhance member, guest and staff experiences.
• Ensure compliance with Soho House policies, local health and safety regulations, and food‑allergy procedures.
• Collaborate with Head Office functions (HR, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to drive sales, retention and operational excellence.
• Develop and support annual marketing initiatives and partnerships with Membership, Food & Drink and Events teams.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of experience managing high‑volume Food & Beverage operations and overseeing multiple hotel departments.
• Proven ability to lead large teams, retain talent and foster a strong brand culture.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience translating performance data into actionable business improvements.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
