Assistant Pharmacist – Clinical Trials Supply Chain

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Pharmacist to support the Depot and Auxiliary Pharmacists in the Clinical Trials Supply Chain. The role involves handling investigational drugs, diagnostic kits, devices and related materials, ensuring accurate receipt, storage and shipment according to SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Depot and Auxiliary Pharmacists with daily depot operations.
• Process inbound, outbound and return shipments using the CTM‑Star Operative System.
• Coordinate shipments between logistics areas and the Clinical Trials Supply Chain Services Division.
• Follow World Courier Standard Operating Procedures for reception, storage and shipment of materials.
• Verify material characteristics such as ID number, expiration date, temperature and storage conditions.
• Perform relabeling, stock balancing and relocation tasks within the depot.
• Maintain communication with WC Operations to ensure timely delivery to trial sites.
• Undertake any additional duties for which training has been provided.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists, logistics managers and external partners.
• Proactive attitude with the capacity to take initiative and assume responsibility.
• Highly organized, tidy and detail‑oriented.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the CTM‑Star Operative System.
• Good computer literacy for data entry and documentation.
• Knowledge of World Courier SOPs related to material handling.
