Autonomous Production Operator

About the role

The Autonomous Production Operator ensures continuous manufacturing while meeting quality, safety and deadline standards. The role involves operating production equipment, monitoring processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Perform one or more production operations according to defined standards and report any anomalies.
• Clean and maintain machines and workstations, and keep production documentation up to date.
• Supply the workstation with raw materials, packaging items and small tools, verifying their conformity.
• Inspect product quality at machine entry and exit, isolate defective items and open a QRAP when needed.
• Monitor production programs, ensure smooth operation, and respect safety, quality and productivity standards.
• Participate in series changes, equipment adjustments, and parameterization tasks.
• Support 5S implementation and maintain a tidy work area.
• Attend daily and monthly meetings, training sessions and improvement projects.

• Ability to follow environmental, energy and health‑safety standards.
• Willingness to participate in continuous improvement and propose improvement actions (PAs).
• Versatility to support multiple tasks within the production line.
• Readiness to train colleagues and, if required, temporarily cover higher‑qualification positions.
