About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position supports daily logistics and customs operations for GLS Forwarding Group in Hermosillo, Mexico. The assistant coordinates incoming and outgoing shipments, prepares required documentation, and helps ensure compliance with import‑export regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule pickups and deliveries with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels, update internal records, and track materials and products.
• Assist purchasing activities and support continuous improvement of logistics processes.
• Resolve operational issues promptly to ensure timely dispatch.
• Follow company safety and compliance guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience or education in logistics, warehousing, or customs operations preferred.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
