AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

Cognizant is looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join its growing digital services team in Mexico. The position is hybrid, allowing you to work from any of our four locations while collaborating with global clients on cutting‑edge cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Automate deployments and manage production‑grade systems in AWS environments.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
• Create and manage Docker container images, registries, and runtime configurations.
• Develop Python scripts for automation, data handling, and tool integration.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Willingness to work hybrid in Guadalajara, CDMX, Monterrey or Queretaro.

Required skills

• Strong expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficient Python scripting for automation.
• Solid experience with Docker containers.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance.
