Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

Capgemini is looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust DevOps solutions that accelerate software delivery across multiple environments. You will work with Azure DevOps services, automation frameworks, and scripting to streamline CI/CD pipelines, improve deployment reliability, and support operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery.
• Configure and administer Azure DevOps services such as Repos, Boards, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Test Plans.
• Implement Git branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk‑based, feature branching) and support version control best practices.
• Automate deployment, release, and environment validation across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise build and release pipelines for stability and performance.
• Create and maintain reusable PowerShell scripts for deployment automation, provisioning, and operational support.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
