Bilingual Financial Controller (MX/US Operations)

About the role

We are seeking a high‑caliber Bilingual Financial Controller to own the full financial cycle for our Mexico and US operations. You will move beyond routine bookkeeping, applying judgment, creativity, and advanced modeling to influence strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, update, and maintain robust financial models and business cases to drive profitability.
• Lead IFRS compliance, maintain procedures, prepare executive reports, and ensure accurate ledger balances.
• Conduct monthly reviews of bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions to control risk and support audits.
• Oversee the complete accounting cycle, including general ledger, month‑end close, asset management, and yearly inventory audits.
• Partner with Accounts Payable and act as a core leader within the Controlling unit.

Required profile

• Fluent English (100% proficiency) – daily business communication in English is mandatory.
• 5+ years of proven accounting and controlling experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financial Management.
• Valid US visa and passport with ability to travel to the US approximately three times per year.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong command of Google Workspace.
