Business Developer – B2B Growth in Automotive & Electronics

About the role
We are seeking a proactive Business Developer (Hunter) to accelerate B2B growth in the automotive and electronics sectors across Mexico. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and converting new accounts within OEMs and Tier‑1/Tier‑2 suppliers.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect new customers through visits, cold calls, digital outreach, networking, fairs, and industry events.
- Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to closing, including needs analysis, technical coordination, proposal, negotiation, and contract signing.
- Map decision‑makers and influencers at target accounts and build lasting relationships.
- Detect emerging projects and propose CELO fastening solutions with clear technical and commercial value.
- Collaborate with engineering, technical service, and supply‑chain teams to ensure offer feasibility and competitiveness.
- Prepare quotations and commercial proposals that meet profitability targets and internal policies.
- Monitor competitor activity and devise actions to win projects.
- Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities, leads, and forecasts in the CRM.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, International Trade or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of B2B new‑business development or field sales experience, preferably in industrial, automotive or electronics environments.
- Proven track record of opening new accounts in industrial settings.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
