About the role
We are looking for a Business Development & Community Manager to build and manage partner and creator pipelines, represent the company at industry events, and drive community engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Build and own the partner pipeline, sourcing indie animation studios, IP holders, and institutional partners across AIGC and emerging formats, and grow them into long‑term relationships.
- Build and own the key creator pipeline, sourcing and networking with key creators and nurturing long‑term relationships.
- Represent the company at industry events such as festivals, conventions, and co‑production forums, increasing visibility and expanding a personal network within the local content scene.
- Plan and host events, showcases, and meetups that bring together creators and partners, positioning the company at the centre of the community.
- Lead end‑to‑end, high‑touch negotiations with customized cooperation models, serving as the trusted long‑term point of contact for key creator and institutional partner relationships.
- Partner with product and operations teams to build content showcases, ensure smooth delivery, maintain partner satisfaction, and drive account growth.
- Monitor the local market, culture, and competitor activity, and feed intelligence back to the team.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Languages, Communications, Journalism, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Native or near‑native English with deep familiarity with the US/UK content landscape and culture.
- At least 2 years of experience in business development or partnerships, preferably with connections to IP companies, animation/comic/novel studios, production agencies, and AI studios & tools.
- Proven relationship‑building skills, comfortable representing a brand publicly and organizing events.
- Genuine interest in the digital content industry, a community mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and cultural sensitivity.
- Highly self‑driven, fast‑learning, resilient, and able to handle relationship‑led deal cycles.
