Business Development Manager - Financial Crime and Compliance

About the role

LexisNexis Risk Solutions, part of Relx, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across its Financial Crime & Compliance solutions portfolio in Mexico. The role involves identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships through cross-sell initiatives, helping regulated organizations strengthen their compliance, anti-money laundering, fraud prevention and risk management programs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and acquire new customers in the financial services, banking, fintech and regulated sectors.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and contract closure.
• Expand existing customer relationships by introducing additional LexisNexis Risk Solutions products and services.
• Build relationships with Compliance Officers, AML leaders, Risk Executives, Fraud leaders and other key decision makers.
• Collaborate with internal strategy, product and global teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Stay up to date on regulatory trends, AML requirements, sanctions screening, KYC and fraud prevention.
• Forecast pipeline and revenue opportunities using CRM tools.

Required profile

• Experience in the Financial Crime & Compliance industry or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in business development, enterprise sales, consultative sales or solution selling.
• Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Fluent Spanish and advanced English, able to influence and collaborate with global stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, and a self-starting approach to winning new business.

Required skills

• Understanding of compliance, AML, fraud prevention, risk management, sanctions or regulatory technology solutions.
• Experience selling technology, SaaS, data, analytics, risk, compliance or regulatory solutions, and/or expertise gained in financial institutions, fintechs, compliance, AML or risk functions.
