Business Development Manager

About the role

JAS, an international supply chain services provider, is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its customer base and increase gross profit across its logistics and freight forwarding portfolio. The role involves traveling within the assigned territory, building strong relationships with new and existing clients, and delivering tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies using market data to grow the SILVER, GOLD, and PLATINUM customer segments.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of JAS products and services.
• Travel throughout the territory to meet regular and prospective customers.
• Prepare pricing, credit terms, and sales contracts for secured orders.
• Provide activity reports and sales plans for the assigned region.
• Participate actively in sales and skills training programs.
• Adhere to all sales policy requirements.

Required profile

• College degree preferred.
• 3‑5 years of successful sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation.
• Excellent organizational, written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough knowledge of transportation industry logistics and successful sales techniques.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask, meet deadlines, and work both independently and in a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
