Business Presentation Designer Intern

About the role

The Business Presentation Designer Intern will work closely with CEMEX’s Strategic Planning teams to turn complex business concepts into clear, visual stories. This 6‑month internship offers hands‑on experience in visual communication, data visualization, and presentation design for company‑wide initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Strategic Planning to develop visual solutions for key business issues.
• Create and refine PowerPoint slides, custom presentation layouts, and alternative storytelling formats.
• Synthesize complex ideas into simple graphics, charts, and data visualizations.
• Partner with consultants and stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and ensure creative quality.
• Review and approve all design work before final delivery.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in 5th to 8th semester of a relevant program.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) – optional.
• Experience with Thinkcell for chart creation.
• Basic knowledge of data storytelling and graphic design fundamentals.
