About the role

The Butler Manager leads the dedicated butler team in a luxury hospitality setting, ensuring that every guest receives personalized, high‑end service. This role combines hands‑on service delivery with team leadership, training, and performance management to uphold brand standards across VIP suites and in‑suite experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional butler services, handling guest orders, requests and enquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct embarkation inspections of all VIP suites and ensure in‑suite arrival procedures meet brand standards.
• Lead, coach, train and develop the Butler Team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Mentor the Senior Butler, preparing them for future managerial responsibilities.
• Monitor and achieve brand‑defined performance targets and KPIs for the team.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of butler or guest‑facing experience in a luxury hotel, resort or cruise line.
• Professional butler certification (e.g., International Butler Academy) is an advantage.
• Previous shipboard experience is highly preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Additional language proficiency (French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Mandarin, Arabic, Japanese) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities to manage a culturally diverse workforce.
