About the role

As a Buyer at Carrier Global Corporation you will ensure the uninterrupted supply of materials needed for manufacturing operations. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams and cross‑functional partners to place orders, manage inventory and support engineering changes.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately create and issue purchase orders to meet production schedules.
• Monitor material shortages, expedite deliveries and maintain appropriate inventory coverage.
• Resolve purchase order discrepancies, including hold invoices, while preserving strong supplier relationships.
• Manage material planning activities such as pull‑in, push‑out, cancellation reports and inventory control.
• Support Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), New Product Introduction (NPI) and Phase‑In/Phase‑Out projects to ensure smooth supply transitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
• 2–3 years of purchasing, procurement or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proactive, analytical and customer‑focused mindset with strong relationship‑building abilities.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Experience using SAP.
• Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
