Buyer – Mobility Aftermarket

About the role

The Mobility Aftermarket Buyer will ensure a reliable supply of wiper components for multiple Bosch plants in Mexico. This position combines commercial and project purchasing responsibilities, supporting supplier strategy, cost optimisation and supply‑chain alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute supplier strategies to meet business objectives.
• Select cost‑effective, qualified suppliers and negotiate prices and conditions.
• Maintain and update SAP master data, including new supplier setups and plant extensions.
• Perform bottom‑up financial planning for suppliers, part prices and capital expenditures, and track cost development against budget.
• Support supplier capacity planning, logistics escalations and risk management.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and internal stakeholders across functions.
• Lead supplier or market‑driven change projects such as RPP, SCR, ECR, localisation and resourcing.
• Apply problem‑solving and escalation tools to improve processes and achieve targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain management.
• Strong negotiation abilities and proven relationship‑building with suppliers.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and automotive OE procurement.
• Attention to detail in record‑keeping and order processing.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
