Buyer – Procurement Professional

About the role

Join a global procurement team of ten professionals dedicated to delivering sustainable solutions for the mining industry. As a Buyer, you will support the organization by executing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of complex products.

Key responsibilities

• Implement local purchasing strategies and contracts in line with global priorities.
• Handle supplier activities to meet global deliverables and category strategies.
• Purchase and expedite complex items, interpreting technical specifications.
• Analyze and evaluate suppliers against strategic criteria.
• Monitor logistics, ensure on‑time shipments, and track quality issues.
• Maintain effective supplier communication and resolve NCRs.
• Promote a safe, positive work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field (preferred) or high school diploma with 1‑5 years relevant experience.
• Experience using ERP and working knowledge of MRP systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
