Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Buyer will manage the end‑to‑end purchase‑to‑pay process for raw materials, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with Eaton’s supply‑chain policies. This position supports production schedules by coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, change notices and monitor exception messages.
• Maintain accurate purchase‑order dates, Material Master records, source lists and reconcile supplier invoices.
• Monitor part consumption characteristics and adjust planning parameters as needed.
• Manage internal and external Kanban replenishment, scheduling agreements and blanket orders.
• Provide root‑cause corrective actions for material shortages and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Receiving and Suppliers to resolve blocked invoices and avoid shipment holds.
• Work with quality teams and suppliers to address non‑compliant material issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply‑chain roles.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of SAP.
