Calibration Technician

About the role

The Calibration Technician is responsible for ensuring that all measurement and temperature equipment used in the production of high‑voltage sources at Spellman de México operates accurately and reliably. The role involves performing calibrations, maintenance, and repairs, as well as managing calibration data within the CMMS.

Key responsibilities

• Perform calibrations of temperature measurement devices for mechanical, electrical and dimensional assemblies.
• Maintain and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with equipment inventory, calibration orders and reports.
• Provide technical support for electronic equipment and coordinate external calibration or repair services.
• Monitor spare‑part inventory, generate purchase orders and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies.
• Document calibration results and retain reports in the designated drive.

Required profile

• Electronic Engineering degree or at least two years of experience in a similar calibration role.
• Knowledge of calibration and repair of measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic diagrams and equipment manuals.
• Basic proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 quality and environmental management systems.
