Cards Services Team Leader

About the role

Join HSBC Global Service Center as a Cards Services Team Leader and drive the delivery of commercial card services across regions. You will be instrumental in supporting the Global Card Service Transformation strategy and ensuring operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Commercial Card Service team, overseeing day‑to‑day operations.
• Support the Global Card Service Transformation strategy in close collaboration with regional leads and transformation managers.
• Drive the operational rollout of technology solutions for the team where applicable.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders across sites and regions.
• Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring information is shared appropriately.
• Mentor card service teams in project environments and ensure proper production of project artefacts.
• Run governance processes, resolve escalations, and oversee reporting and management information for regional and global teams.
• Monitor economic, regulatory, and technology changes and coordinate contingency actions with the BCP team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and managing service‑delivery teams in a financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance and SOX requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across regional and global teams.
• Ability to drive results, hold accountability and act as a role model for HSBC values.
